The Deployment Process
STEP ONE-APPLICATION: Submit the application on the right for a mission assignment. We ask each group for a deposit of $100 prior to booking your team. Checks may be made payable to Chicago Metro Baptist Association.
STEP TWO-PROJECT ASSIGNMENT: CMBA leaders will match you with a church or ministry based on the needs and opportunities of the field and how well it seems to match your group's gifts, experiences, and interests. You will receive confirmation of the assignment along with a contact person for your communication. Please contact this person to
confirm that this is a good match. At that time you may begin making plans for your mission service in Chicago.
STEP THREE-ORIENTATION/PROJECT SITE VISIT: Once you have gotten confirmation of your assignment, it is ideal that some of your leaders make a pre-project site visit.
STEP FOUR-EVALUATION:We ask all group leaders to send us a summary report telling how God worked during your time in Chicago. He alone deserves the praise! You can submit your report online or fax your report to 708/233-0330.
STEP FIVE-PRAY ABOUT RETURNING: After your trip, begin plans for coming back next year to continue the journey! Pray about and discuss a long-term partnership with your host church. If not with your host church, consider serving with another CMBA church.
